Diploma in Nursing

This is a three-and-a-half-year training programme that incorporates classroom education, clinical rounds, and community health practical learning in the communities around the school. We offer diversification in training and our students graduate as qualified midwives, general nursing practitioners, and community health nurses. This training equips them with the right skills to serve in diverse settings, making them among the best prepared in the industry.

    Bedside training at Tenwek Hospital and partner sites.

    Practical experience in communities around the college.

Admission requirements

Those interested in pursuing a Diploma in Nursing must meet the requirements below.

Mean grade

KCSE mean grade of C Plain and above, or its equivalent.

Subject requirements

  • C Plain in English or Kiswahili
  • C Plain in Biology or Biological Sciences
  • C– (minus) in any of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Physical Sciences
